Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and TV personality popular as presenter the talk show The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and has been raised within Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl has a troubled family. She spent most of her young life caring for her older sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl experienced many issues with her mom. Sheryl said that at one moment her mother hit the father of her child due to her proximity to the father. Sheryl went into military service following her college graduation. The area of interest she was most interested in was comedy. She was the first woman in history to reach the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV profession began in the year 1992 as a performer for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the TV series Oh Drama! In 2011, she began appearing as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. The actress has appeared on fictional shows such as Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
