Despacito, a song by Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi along with Daddy Yankee was released in the year 2017. It went on to become the most streamed song at the time within six month. It was a blend of reggaeton and pop that not only drew attention to Latin Music, but as well reggaeton. Billboard's Top 100 featured two songs that were Spanish mostly, and four in 2016. Despacito's popularity Despacito peaked in 2017. In 2020 the year 2020, 41 mainly Spanish songs will be included in the top 100. Following Justin Bieber's bilingual remix to Despacito (2017) well-known artists began to collaborate with reggaeton performers including Drake along with Bad Bunny on MIA (2018) as well as Madonna together with Maluma for Medellin (2019). In 2020, several Reggaeton musicians were complaining about the advancing of the genre toward the mainstream. Yet, a young generation, such as Rauw Alejandro was determined to maintain the development. Rauw Alejandro incorporated electronic dance forms and other genres into his songs.
