
Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her most famous role was Miss Bala (2011), the Mexican crime-drama film. Also, she was in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). In television, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both shows. Sigman was born to her Mexican mom and an American father, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. Through her father, Sigman is the daughter of a U.S. citizen. [2][3][4]She is a U.S. citizen through her father. Her brother, baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman married actress Barbara Mori Sigman. Before making her debut in film in Rio de Oro, she made her debut as a Mexican TV star. In 2011 she was cast in the lead part of Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. The film was nominated for the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8The film, however, was not on the final list. 9.
